Jennifer H. Morris
Jennifer H. Morris is the director of Harlow House, a respected museum professional, and Los Angeles native. She attended Occidental College, where she majored in Art History. While at Oxy, she completed several curatorial internships at local museums, including the Huntington Library, the Getty Research Institute, and MOCA. She graduated in 2012. Next, she earned her MA in Curatorial Practices from USC Roski School of Art & Design. Her thesis exhibition focused on historic house restorations. She became director of Harlow House in 2014. She lives in Pasadena with her husband Bradley and beloved chihuahua.
Allison Beechman Barkley
Allison is the operations manager at Harlow House. She has decades of experience in conservation and museum operations. Prior to joining Harlow House in 2013, she served as the assistant director at the Fenyes Mansion, where she worked for 10 years. Prior to the Fenyes, she worked at LACMA for 8 years. She earned an MA in Museum Studies from John Hopkins University and a PhD in Art History from Harvard.
Sadie
Sadie is our intern-extraordinaire and Jill of all trades! She runs Harlow House’s social media, updates the website, organizes public programming, and coordinates volunteers. She is also in the process of digitizing all of Harlow House’s archival records. She is a history student at Cal State LA.
Marley
Marley is the most important member of the Harlow House team! He is a 4-year-old ginger American short hair. He helps out by catching mice that roam the property and offering a cute belly for visitors to pet.
